MAITRI SPACE AWARENESS

Weekly seminar in Lower Austria, 31. August – 07. September 2025

„Maitri“ is a Sanskrit word and means „loving-kindness“ or „friendly attention to yourself”.

In the practice of the Maitri-Space area, we turn to the basic energies of our world of experience, reinforce these by certain postures and colors and are familiar with them. We learn friendly, to deal with them joyfully and creatively.

This practice was made accessible to the western world by Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche. The origin is teaching about the 5 Wisdom energies (or traditionally the 5 Called Buddhaf families), which occur at the same time as our energies perceived as problematic. It can be experienced directly, How these energies work in us and around us.

Mindfulness meditation, Special postures & Colors in the room, Individual creative expression, Group exchange, One -on -one talks, Group exercises and „Targetless wandering around“ Open access to the diverse energies of our lives in a gentle way. This creates moments, in which we can experience ourselves as the design and give our creative power to express ourselves.

Sabine Putze Had the first contact with teaching of Chögyam Trungpa 1984 and
has been practicing mindfulness awareness meditation in Shambhala ever since- and in
The tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh. 1986 she visited the three-month
Klausur Program "Seminary” with Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche and has been since 1987
Meditation instructor. She visited the first Maitri space-the
1989 in Germany. The first Maitripr program ko-apprented with the “Maitri-
Covering team” 2022. Before that, years of assistance in Maitri programs and
Ko-teachers in Mudra mandala programs in Poland and France. The latter
Connect programs with Maitri practice.
She is also since 20 years of teaching Mudra space awareness, a practice, die
also brought to the west by Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche.
Sabine worked as a doctor and teacher. She has 2 daughters and 3 grandchildren.

Peter Nowak met Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche 1985 For the first time and visited
1986 The last three-month exam program “Seminary”, The Trunga
taught. He had many roles in his home shambhala center in Vienna and
has been since 1986 Meditation instructor. Since 1999 he was a meditation in many
Maitri space-the-end programs. He kept the first Maitripr program with the
“Maitri travel companion team” 2022. Von 2020 bis 2024 he was on the board of
Shambhala global. Peter has three adult children and worked 35 Years in the
Reform of the health system.

Participation in the Maitri Seminar takes place at your own responsibility and does not replace medical healing treatment or psychotherapy. Only take part in the seminar, If you are physically and mentally resilient. The liability of the group management is limited to gross negligence and intentions.

The seminar costs are staggered according to the average net income (per adult/adult in the household)
A: above € 2.400.-                        € 570.-
B: between€ 1.600.- and 2,400.-€ 440.-
C: between€ 900-.- and € 1.600.-  € 350.-
D: under € 900.-                          € 260.-

Cancellation conditions
For cancellations up to 14 Augsgust 2025 must 50 % the participation fee will be invoiced. When canceling up to August 21 2025 must 80 % the participation fee will be invoiced. The cancellation fee is no longer necessary, If you have one(n) Spare participant(in) to name. If not participated without prior cancellation, the entire participation fee must be offset against. By registering for the event, you accept the respective cancellation conditions.
